FAQ-Frequently Asked Questions

General

That is a simple question. We focus on building websites and offering services that make your website work for you.

That depends. The cost of your website depends on the complexity of the design, number of pages, custom programming requirements and sources for the content.

The important thing to keep in mind is the real question shouldn't be "What does it cost?", but you should be asking "What will be the impact to my bottom line?" .

So if you are trying to work within a tight budget, find a designer who understands how to optimize your site so the search engines will give it the best rankings. Otherwise, you may want to wait on building a website for your business because spending money on a cool looking website that isn't optimized is a wasted investment.

Great question!

A small website can be designed and published within a couple of days, if the content is ready before we start.

In my experience, most of the time in publishing a website is getting the content together. Usually, this takes a couple of months and is really dependent on how long it takes the client to provide the content.

If budget permits, we can have a professional copywriter put the text together and we can use stock photography to add pictures to your site.

SEO

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization and can be broken down into 3 levels:

  1. The first level is what I call the site level and is related to the basic layout of your website. It can be considered the foundation of your SEO efforts. This level of SEO must be done before the site is built.
  2. The next level is on-page optimization and deals with the optimization of each individual page.
  3. The final level of optimization is related to creating what are called back-links to your site where you have other websites link back to pages on your site.

Maybe.

Just changing your website each day will probably not help your search engine rankings. In fact, it may even hurt your ranking. The key is to add new content on a regular basis that is highly relevant to your product or service.
